Start a conversation

If something is showing up in your leadership and the usual fixes have not shifted it, the next step may be to understand what is really going on.

You do not need to arrive with the problem neatly defined. Most people get in touch with a rough sense that something is not right, or that they are working harder than they should be to stay on top of things. Working out what is actually going on is the job of the coaching, not a prerequisite for asking about it.

What to expect from a first conversation

The first conversation is exploratory. It is a chance to talk through what is prompting your interest, to get a feel for how Paul works, and to decide whether this is the right kind of support for you. There is no obligation to go further, and nothing is decided in that first call.

A conversation, not a pitch

You talk about what is going on. Paul listens, asks questions, and is honest with you about whether coaching is likely to help.

Confidential from the start

The coaching conversation is confidential. Where an organisation is sponsoring the work, that is set out openly through three-way contracting.

Senior enough to be useful

Paul has spent over 20 years working with executives, including at Chair and CEO level, so the conversation starts from an understanding of your world.

Who tends to get in touch

People arrive here by three different routes, and all three are welcome.

Contact details

Please email or call directly using the details above, and Paul will get back to you.
